On March 21st, SELINI launched its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter and quickly reached its initial goal within seven days. This will help significantly to fully launch SELINI on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux. A few days later, the second stretch goal of a “Following Companion” was achieved as well, having raised all the needed funds. The developer mentioned that he would now be able to get some outsource help to make the companion more interactive and advance the whole experience.

The Kickstarter campaign is still ongoing and the developer announced the third major stretch goal, which is a port of SELINI to Nintendo Switch. Cymban is a father-and-son studio from Greece working on their dream project since 2016. Andreas, the father, was inspired by his son Orfeas, who one day just asked why they wouldn’t create their own video game instead of playing others! Despite the challenges, Andreas dedicated himself to this creative adventure and quit his job as a photographer to focus exclusively on SELINI. This Kickstarter campaign aims to acquire a dedicated small team to increase the scope of SELINI.
